Periodic OHS training for employees

We would like to inform you that the obligation to provide periodic health and safety training for employees, which was previously suspended due to the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak condition, has been reinstated.

Therefore, all employees in the staff groups:

• academic teachers
• engineering and technical personnel
• administratuib

are required to attend periodic training in occupational health and safety. 

As default, this training is provided in Polish in the form of self-directed learning as a course on the UPEL platform, which is available on the website:

upel.agh.edu.pl/course/view.php

and all AGH staff were sent an email in Polish to complete the training with guidance.

If you have already completed this course because of your Polish language skills - you have probably fulfilled this training requirement. However, if you know enough Polish to understand the content and prefer a form of guided self-study, but haven't yet attended the training - please follow the instructions sent to you and complete the training. 

If you don't speak Polish, there will be periodic health and safety training in English in the form of a real-time webinar in February.

If you haven't attended a Periodic OHS Training course before and would like to complete it in English, please complete the application form (link below) by January 31, 2024 (till 11:55 pm) and submit it so that we can prepare appropriate training & send guidance about training to you.
